Vitamins to Consume During Self Isolation

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. When doing self-quarantine of self-isolation, it is essential to consume nutrition-rich food because those kinds of foods can boost our immune system in avoiding or fighting Covid-19.

To individuals or families who are self-isolating, they need to focus on what kind of recommended foods.

There are vitamins for Covid-19 patients that could help in fighting Coronavirus. What are vitamins and supplements for covid-19 patients? Check out the following explanation.

Vitamins that can be consumed during self-isolation
• Vitamin C (for 14 days):
o 500 mg of non-acidic vitamin C tablets every 6-8 hours, orally (for 14 days)
o 500 mg of vitamin C lozenges every 12 hours, orally (for 30 days)
o Multivitamins containing vitamin C, 1-2 tablets every 24 hours (for 30 days)
o Multivitamins containing vitamin B, C, E, and Zinc are recommended.
• Vitamin D
o Supplements:400 - 1000 IU per day (available in tablets, capsules, effervescent, chewing tablets, lozenges, soft capsules, powder, and syrup)
o Medicines: 1000-5000 IU per day (available in chewing tablets of 1000 and 5000 IU)
• Traditional medicine or Modern Indonesian Medicine registered by the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration, taking into account the condition of the patient
• Antioxidant medicines
