Tribratanews.polri.go.id. - Jambi. Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Police Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo visited Suku Anak Dalam (SAD) village in Pasir Putih Village, Dwi Karya Bakti Hamlet, Pelepat District, Muaro Bungo Regency, Saturday (6/19).
Purpose of the the visit to SAD village is to stay in touch the pople as well as delivering assistance in the form of nine basic necessities (sembako) and snacks for children.
“I have visited SAD in three places, here the place is different from the previous one between humans and nature are very closed [but] the place was not hygienic. However, now everything here is better and healthier,more hygienic and [the people have] already had a house, “ Chief of Jambi Regional Police explained.
During his visit this time, the Chief of Jambi Regional Police wanted social equality for SAD with other tribes in Jambi Province.
“I want the Anak Dalam Tribe to be like other tribes. Everyone must be equal, the rights are the same and the opportunities must also be the same," he said.
100 Family Cards (KK) of SAD residents in Pasir Putih received assistance from the Chief of Jambi Regional Police. The chairperson of Bhayangkari Jambi and members also provided food assistance for the SAD children in Pasir Putih Village.
The gathering activity implemented health protocols. Before entering, there is a place to wash hands and check body temperature. During the activity everyone was wearing a mask and keeping the distance.
