Curug Cijalu is perfect for refreshing the body and mind because it has a very cool atmosphere and a beautiful natural panorama. In addition to many community-owned and state-owned plantations, it also has a lot of forest around the Cijalu waterfall tourist location.
This waterfall itself is included in the area of the Mount Burangrang Nature Reserve. Therefore, it is not surprising that this location has very cool and fresh air. Apart from that, one of the waterfalls in Subang turns out to have a mystical story that is believed by the surrounding community.
Long ago, this waterfall was named Curug Cikondang, which later changed into Curug Cijalu after being visited by a powerful warrior. The word Curug means waterfall, while Ci is the flow of water and Jalu is a man.
The existence of another small waterfall is named Curug Putri, which is still associated with the Cijalu waterfall.
According to the local myth, Curug Putri and Cijalu were a pair of lovers. Thus, the locals believed that if a visitor has not found their soulmates yet before bathing in this waterfall, will soon find their loved ones after visiting the waterfall.
