Polda Metro Jaya is pursuing the shooter who shot a train at the Palmerah Station - Kebayoran Station, South Jakarta. Evidence and witnesses have been examined to explore the case. Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Metro Jaya, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, S.I.K, M.Sc., explained that the shooters allegedly used an air rifle, causing the glass to shatter.
"There has been a shooting with an air rifle which caused the right glass to shatter, on the fifth train from the front," explained Kabid Humas Polda Metro on Thursday (31/3).
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya explained that the shooting occurred around 19.20 WIB on Wednesday (30/3). The train was shot 200 meters before entering Kebayoran Station. He also emphasized that there were no victims in this shooting incident, either passengers or the train crew.
So far, the police have examined the projectiles at the Indonesian National Police Laboratory. Several witnesses from the crews have also been questioned.
"We still don't know who the perpetrators are, including the motivation for these actions," he concluded.
