Police official confirms a suicide bomb that occured on Astana Anyar Police Station, Bandung, East Java on Wednesday (12/7) morning.
The Head of Bandung Police, Commissioner Aswin Sipayung explained that initially members of Astana Anyar police is rallying at 08:20 WIB. But then, suddenly, a man walk towards the HQ while pointing a sharp weapon and ran through inside.
“Members then immediately dodged the man and soon after there was an explosion. The man is now dead right at HQ lobby. Three of our members are injured and now being treated and Police Hospital,” said Bandung Police Chief, quoted from Kompas TV.
He continued that the access to Astana Anyar HQ is closed for 200 meters for undisclosed time.
