Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police together with related agencies held Operation Safe Nusa II in order to support the implementation of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities which started on Saturday (07/03/21).
The Head of Public Relations of Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus said thousands of joint personnel were deployed in the operation which will last until July 20, 2021. "We have 1,500 personnel from the Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police, the National Armed Forces, Military District Commander has 2,263 personnel, and from the Regional Government, both the Transportation Service and the Municipal Police, there are 700 personnel," he explained, Saturday (07/03/21).
In the Safe Nusa II operation, Pol. Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus explained that his party was also preparing a law enforcement task force team. This team will block people who may or may not pass during the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities period.
"There are several law enforcement task forces to take strict action. What is clear is that this task force will go around and carry out investigations, which if we find violations will be dealt with firmly, and this is an effort to discipline the community. The public must be aware that Covid-19 is not a joke. We're not playing, what we hope is that people to stay at home," explained Head of PR.
