Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Tabalong. President Joko Widodo made his visit to the Tabalong People’s Market in Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan on Friday (17/2/23). Accompanied by high-ranking officials, including the Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, and the Cabinet Secretary Anung Pramono, the President conducted a thorough inspection of the prices of basic commodities in preparation for the upcoming Ramadan.
During the visit, the President expressed his satisfaction to the situation. “We saw the stable prices of commodities, including chili and shallots,” he said, as quoted on the President Secretary YouTube channel.
In his first visit to the Tabalong Regency, the President also took the opportunity to express his hope that the new capital city project (IKN) would generate economic growth for the region.
In his closing remarks, the President called upon the people of Tabalong to offer their prayers and support for the successful completion of the IKN project.
