Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Papua. President Jokowi inaugurated the Papua Youth Creative Hub building on Tuesday (21/3/23). The building, located in Jayapura, will provide a space for empowerment and human resource quality improvement for young people in Papua.
“This morning, I feel very proud as the request of 23 young Papuans, whom I invited to the Presidential Palace for a space for empowerment and human resource quality improvement, has finally be realized with the establishment of the Papua Youth Creative Hub in Jayapura,” said President Jokowi in his speech.
President Jokowi also conveyed his hopes that such buildings should be available in other regions and has already discussed this with the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN). He further emphasized that he hopes these plans will come to fruition next year.
“I asked for the construction of similar buildings in NTT, West Papua, Maluku, and Aceh, starting this year, so that they can be completed by next year. We can emulate everything that is available here, which is already very good,” he said.
The inauguration was attended by several notable figures, including the Head of the State Intelligence Agency Budi Gunawan, the Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, the Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, the Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Acting Governor of Papua Muhammad Ridwan Rumasukun, and PYH founder Simon Tabuni.
