The Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo took part in the distribution of essential items to residents of South Jakarta earlier today (29/3/23). Accompanied by the South Jakarta Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), the assistance, consisting of 2,000 packages of necessities, was handed over to beneficiaries.
Speaking at a press conference held at the South Jakarta Regional Police Station, the Head of the Public Relations Division of INP Inspector General Dedy Prasetyo said that the provision of the assistance was by the Chief of INP’s instructions.
“The provision is carried out by the instructions of the Chief of INP during the month of Ramadan. Hopefully, it can help the community,” he said.
Dedi, a representative of the beneficiaries residing in Tanjung Barat, West Jakarta, expressed his gratitude to the police for their support in alleviating the community’s burden. He shared that the community found it very satisfying and wished for the continued prosperity of the INP.
Furthermore, the INP has also planned assistance for other regions, such as 5,000 packages of essential items for the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, 7,500 packages for the Metro Jaya Regional Police, and 50 tons of rice for the East Java Regional Police. These provisions will take place on April 3, 2023.
