tribratanews.polri.go.id - Because of employing underage girls to satisfy grown men in the cafe she manages, the woman with an initial IQ, 46, was secured by the Women's and Children's Service (PPA) Unit of the Mataram Police (Polresta Mataram) Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim).
"Currently, we have secured the alleged manager, as well as one clientele, and the four victims," said the Mataram Police Chief (Kapolresta Mataram), Commissioner Heri Wahyudi, on Wednesday (6/4/2022).
The police managed to secure the perpetrator after receiving a report from the public who felt disturbed by the cafe's activities. The operational team went directly to the location in question and did found female workers who are still underage.
"Allegedly, this activity of human trafficking, where the workers, mostly underage women, are hired to accompany guests who come to the Cafe to drink alcoholic beverages," explained Kapolresta Mataram.
