The three were found dead in their room with their mouth foaming.
"At the scene of the incident, we found the three victims were already dead with their mouths foaming," said Deli Serdang Police Chief (Kapolresta Deli Serdang), Commissioner Irsan Sinuhaji, Friday (4/8/2022).
From their investigation of the crime scene (TKP), the police found traces of drinks on the bathroom toilet in the room.
"And also a box was found in the trash can with the words pest drugs written on it," said Irsan.
It is suspected that the three victims died by suicide. The bodies of the three victims have been brought by the police for autopsies.
"Furthermore, we will carry out a thorough investigation," said Irsan.
Previously, it was reported that a mother, RDS (37), and her two children were found dead in the room of her house in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, last Wednesday. Police said the initial examination of the victim at the crime scene did not find any signs of violence.
"There were no signs of violence on the victim's body. We will conduct an autopsy, the victim's family permits us to conduct an autopsy on the three bodies," said Lubuk Pakam Police Chief AKP Hendriyanto Sihotang.
