Tribratanews.polri.go.id - As a form of the Police’s concern for the community amid the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the Banten Regional Police (Polda Banten) Public Relations (Humas) carried out social services by distributing dozens of food supplies and masks to students at the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Nyawana Asem Village, on Friday (25/03/22).
The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Banten, Commissioner Shinto Silitonga said that this activity is part of their social activity that is routinely carried out every Friday and is one of the Banten Police Chief’s priority programs.
On the same occasion, he also hoped that the Barokah Jumat activity could provide benefits to the community during the pandemic.
“This is part of our contribution to the society, especially the Banten Police to the community. Hopefully, this activity can be useful for the people during a pandemic like now,” said Kabid Humas Polda Banten.
Meanwhile Ust. Rusdana (55), the leader of the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, expressed his gratitude for the food supplies provided by the Friday Barokah team.
“I would like to say thank you to the police officers from Polda Banten for their help. I, as the leader of the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School, felt greatly helped by this aid,” he said.
“Hopefully this kind of activity will be carried out regularly because this activity is very beneficial for the community,” he concluded.
