Tribratanews.polri.go.id - In the order to accelerate the vaccination ahead of Ramadhan, The Head of the Education and Training Institute (Kalemdiklat) Prof. Dr. H. Rycko Amelza Dahniel, M.Sc., along with his entourage directly observed the simultaneous vaccinations at the Lebak Regent’s Hall.
Following what was conveyed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo, Banten Police Chief (Kapolda Banten) Inspector General Prof. Dr. Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, S.H., M.H., M.B.A., has ordered the Indonesian National Police Chief (Kapolri) to accelerate the booster vaccination as a requirement for people to be able to do homecoming.
“To achieve the booster vaccination target, the police chiefs have been instructed to carry out accelerations so that the herd immunity can be realized in the upcoming Ramadhan 1443 H,” explained Kapolda Banten when accompanying Kalemdiklat at the Lebak Regency Hall, on Friday (25 /03/22).
In this simultaneous vaccination activity which was held at the Lebak Regency Hall, Polda Banten has prepared 1,000 doses of vaccines for the surrounding community and the elderly. The program was supported by 15 vaccinators from the Lebak Health Department and the Departamental Police of Lebak Medical Unit.
The Two-Star General said the people will be a lot safer with a booster vaccination when interacting with their families at home.
“As long as booster vaccinations and health protocols continued to be carried out, we are optimistic that the Covid-19 transmission rate will not surge again,” said Kapolda Banten.
Polda Banten along with the Lebak Regency Government also distributed 1,000 food supplies containing rice, oil, sugar, instant noodles, and canned food to people who were vaccinated.
“We continue to coordinate with the TNI and the Regional Government to collect data and motivate people who have not been vaccinated to get vaccinated,” concluded the Banten Police Chief.
