The Head of Jambi Police Visits the Chili Farmer to See Directly the Situation of the Market

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Muaro Jambi. In maintaining the communication with the farmer community, the Head of Jambi Police, Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo, visits the chili farm in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh Districts, Muaro Jambi Regency, Saturday (9/10). His visit was welcomed by the Village Head of Maju Jaya.

The Head of Public Relations of Jambi Police, Commissioner Mulia Prianto stated that Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo deliberately visits the chili farm to see the condition of the farm and the quality of the chili it produced.

He also asked the regional government to keep their eye on inflation, especially in the price of daily necessities, including chili and onion.

“The Jambi Police Chief went directly to held an audience with the farmer communities and other elements of society that was accomodated by the Village Head with the aims to improve the welfare of the people,” he said.

Inspector General also asked several questions to the farmers regarding the increase in prices of daily necessities in the market and also asked them what is it that they truly need.

“They stated directly to the Jambi Police Chief several necessities and aids that they need such as farmer tools, procurement of mulch plastic, and training program for farmers," he said.

Responding to their request, the Jambi Regional Police Chief will try to discuss it with the government so that the quality of the chili could be optimized and and can be produced in large quantity, so that chili prices can return to normal.
