When the Police Got Pranked by Youtubers

Tribratanews.polri.go.id -  A famous Youtuber couple, Baim Wong and Paula Verhoven, may really have run out of ideas to make an interesting content for their viewers which makes them do something that incites the public rage.

While the issues of domestic violence has been caught the highlight of the Indonesians recently, these couple suddenly had an idea to make a content out of it. The content involves the police, in which they intend to prank them with fake reports of domestic violence.

Withouth thinking much further, probably thinking the content will be huge hit, which indeed it is, they upload the video. Obviously, they got various negative comments regarding the content of the video. The public considered the couple did not have any symphatetic feelings to the real victims of domestic violence, they are considered insensitive to issues that should not be a joke.

Their problem did not stop there, because of their prank to the police of Kebayoran Lama, they were reported to the police for giving fake reports and insulting the police institution.

Communication expert, Rahmat Edi Irawan, sees these cases as good lesson for those who take a joke too far. "In the future, people will twice before making fun of sensitive topics in public. People will also think thousands of times to insult law enforcement officers such as the police", said the Communications lecturer of Binus University Jakarta.
