Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is monitoring the 2023 Lebaran homecoming flow by air. Monitoring was carried out throughout Jakarta, Cikampek, Cirebon, Bandung, and the surrounding areas.
In the aerial monitoring, General Sigit saw points where traffic jams were suspected, both on arteries and toll roads.
Previously, National Police estimated that the homecoming flow would start from April 18 to April 21, 2023. This was supported by the stipulation of joint leave to April 19, 2023.
However, General Sigit stated that there had been an increase in the number of vehicles since yesterday (14/4/23). This indicates that the Lebaran 2023 homecoming flow has started.
“Indeed, since yesterday Friday, Saturday, and later this Sunday there has been an increase in the number of vehicles. People have gone home early," said General Sigit in his statement, Saturday (4/15/23).
