Metro Jaya Police Implores the Traffic Police to Maintain the Reputation of the Institution

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran ordered the traffic police to always act professionally to regain the public trust and maintain the image of the Police when carrying out their duties. "Because of a small mistake, whole thing got ruined," he reminded his personnel in his briefing with the Traffic Police unit, Saturday (22/10/22).

According to the Police Chief, in this digital era, any information regarding the Police can spread quickly. "One mistake made by a few individuals can tainted the image of a whole institution. Stigma is raised because technological advances have contributed in accelerating the spread of negative news throughout the world," he said.

As reported by pmjnews.com, Inspector General Fadil Imran also asked the Traffic Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police to play an important role in determining the image of the Metro Jaya Police, because they are the ones who are having a direct contact with the community.

Inspector General Fadil Imran also emphasized that the true responsibility of the police is to serve the community. Therefore, the principle of public service must be upheld by covering transparency, accountability and security of community rights.
