North Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Ridwan Zulkarnain Panca Putri Simanjuntak appreciated the personnel of the Indonesian Military and the Indonesian National Police (INP) as well as the local community for the success of the first-ever F1 Powerboat International Event that was held on Lake Toba, Balige in North Sumatra.
“I would like to thank all the Indonesian Military and the INP personnel as well as the community and all parties who have lent their support for the success of the grand international event held for the first time in Indonesia,” said the Chief as quoted by the pmjnews on Monday (27/2/23).
The general said that the F1 Powerboat activities for three days from February 24-26, 2023 were smooth under a peace and secure condition, urging the entire community in Balige to maintain it.
Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan said he was proud of the performance of the North Sumatra Police and the Indonesian Military in securing F1 Powerboat activities.
“I would like to thank the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, the North Sumatra Military Commander, the North Sumatra Governor, and all parties for securing F1 Powerboat in Balige that was successful. I did not expect that the world could witness the beauty of Lake Toba,” he said.
He added that the F1 Powerboat activities in Balige had become the pride of the people of North Sumatra.
