After Release of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities Insulation Team, Traffic Corps' Unit Requests Personnel to Act Humanely, Firmly, and Measurably

Inspector General Istiono led the release of the Aman Nusa II operation team to support the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities policy, and this team acted humanely at every point of isolation. "Today, the two-wheeled and four-wheeled motorised troops are departing. This is a sign that we are starting the safe operation of Nusa II in order to support Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities," he explained in the courtyard of the Indonesian National Police's NTMC building, South Jakarta Saturday (07/03/21).

Pol. Inspector-General Istiono said Operation Aman Nusa II in the context of implementing Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities was a humanitarian operation and asked Police personnel to act humanely, decisively, but measured at the isolation points.

Chief of Traffic Corps' also said it had built 407 isolation points in Java and Bali. The Safe Nusa II operation will also be carried out for 30 days, from July 3 to August 1, 2021. "This operation is a humanitarian operation with humane, decisive, and measured actions. We have also built a connection in supporting this Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities at 407 restriction and control points," he explained.

The Two-Star General explained that the Police would take preventive measures in operation. In addition, his party will also conduct patrols of the neighbourhood's area. "Then we will also take preventive steps, patrols to neighbourhoods area," explained the Traffic Corps'.

Pol. Inspector General Istiono said The Sabhara Baharkam Police Corps would also follow operation Safe Nusa II. He advised the person who went to the field to understand the Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities regulation. "So our friends in the field must understand the rules applied by the government. Learn, guide and implement it in the field well," he explained.

The Traffic Corps' also hopes that its staff will work optimally in this Aman Nusa II operation. In this way, the rate of spread of COVID-19 can be reduced. "I hope the operationalisation is maximal to suppress the spread of COVID-19," he explained.
