Central Java Police Praised the Smooth and Orderly Opening of 48th Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Congress

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Semarang. Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi praised the opening of the 48th Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah Congress which ran in an orderly and safe manner.

The Muktamar Muhammadiyah and Aisyiyah were officially opened by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Manahan Stadium, Solo.

The President was present with First Lady Iriana Jokowi, along with high-ranking state officials and several invitees from abroad to the event.

"The smooth opening of the Congress is the result of strong cooperation between all parties, starting from the committee, the City Government, and surrounding districts, including the participants of the Congress," explained the Central Java Police Chief, quoted by Ayoso

The Central Java Police Chief revealed that in total there were 2,000 security personnel deployed to the congress. This number is supported by various elements such as the transportation service and the Indonesian Ministry.

Inspector General Ahmad Lutfi also gave his appreciation to a number of mass organizations and other organizations that supported security and even provided lodging for congress participants.
