East Java Police Chief Reviews the Security Preparation of OIC Summit

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung.  West Java Police Chief Inspector General Suntana, reviewed the preparation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit security in Bandung City. Inspector General Suntana said there are three places that will host the Summit, namely the Pullman Hotel, the Savoy Homan Hotel, and the Merdeka Building.

Security operation will also be implemented in several shopping centers, tourist attractions, and culinary areas because these places have the potential to be visited by delegates from OIC countries.

During his review, the Police Cheif listened to the explanations of each person in charge of the Command Post in order to harmonize and smoothen the security operation.

The joint security personnel deployed in securing the OIC activities are personnel from Bandung Police, West Java Police, Mobile Brigade unit, and the Indonesian Army. It is hoped that the Summit could went smoothly and conducively.

The review was aimed to ensure the security of the Summity so that the delegates from the countries who attended the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Summit activities will felt comfortable and safe during their visit.
