Tribratanews.polri,go.id - Aceh Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Haydar appealed to all people to continue to prioritize and maintain public order and security when the 2022 World Cup takes place on November 20.
Inspector General of Police Ahmad Haydar said that World Cup is a competition that have been waited by many people around the world, including in Aceh. Thus it is necessary for the police to anticipate the disturbances in the community.
"The 2022 World Cup will roll over soon, of course this means that disturbances in the community also increases. All of us need to band together, including the community, to maintain safety and order," explained the One Star General Bintang Satu quoted by NOA.co.id, Saturday (19/11/22).
He reminded the people not to get overexcited while watching the football match or celebrating the wins of their favourite teams so as not to disturb the others.
He adds that World Cup is just a competition to entertain millions of people around the world. People need not to go extreme in celebrating or mourning over a defeat.
