The Head of the Public Relations Division of Indonesian National Police (INP) Inspector General Sandi Nugroho led a parade to showcase the preparedness of the police force for the 2023 Eid al-Fitr homecoming. The parade on Wednesday (12/4/23) at the Field of the Public Relations Division of INP, where personnel deployed for this year’s homecoming are part of the Six Public Relations Task Force.
He explained that this personnel will carry out their duties in three areas of responsibility. The Comprehensive Activity Unit (UKL) 1 area includes East Java and Gilimanuk, UKL 2 covers West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Bakauheni, while UKL 3 covers Central Java and Yogyakarta.
“This event is not only an opportunity to convey messages from the leadership but also to assess the preparedness of the police force to support Operation Ketupat 2023, especially the Six Public Relations Divisions Task Force,” he explained.
He reassured the public that the Six Public Relations Task Force will provide comprehensive information to the homecoming travelers, with the assistance of other stakeholders and the media crew. This move aims to ensure that all members of the public receive timely and accurate information, which will prevent any obstacles during their homecoming trip.
