2.716 Joint Forces to Secure 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Ahead of the upcoming 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Indonesia, Indonesian National Police (INP) has been preparing its 2.716 personnel to secure the event. Particularly in Bali as one of the six host cities, INP will collaborate with 427 additional personnel of relevant stakeholders from May 20 to June 11.

“INP will collaborate with Indonesian Military (TNI), Municipal Police (Satpol PP), Transportation Agency (Dishub), Health Agency (Dinkes), Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Fire Agency, and Pecalang,” said the Head of Public Affairs Bureau of INP Headquarters Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in a press conference on Monday (13/3/23).

He explained further that the security measures will be both preventive and repressive, and will be implemented through an open and closed system. Additionally, the security measures will be in accordance with FIFA standards.

“We will put the stadium security training into practice to ensure the seamless security operation,” he concluded.
