Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Hatay. The Indonesian Emergency Medical Team (EMT) handed over healthcare facilities to the Ministry of Health of Turkey for the management of earthquake victims a few weeks ago. The handover was led by Lalu Muhamad Iqbal, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Turkey, on Monday (27/2/23).

The Field Hospital consists of 18 health service tents belonging to the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center and the Ministry of Health, and 11 supporting tents belonging to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the Indonesian Military, and the Indonesian National Police (INP).

“We are handing over Field Hospital to the Ministry of Health of Turkey for the management of earthquake victims for the next three months,” said the Head of the Turkey 2023 Humanitarian Mission Task Force, Brigadier General Gatot Tri Suryanta, on Tuesday (28/2/23).

He said that the Ministry of Health of Turkey will add several tools to complete the community service at the Field Hospital.

“As hospitals are overloaded, I hope that this Field Hospital can continue to give medical treatment for the earthquake victims,” he said.
