Tribratanews.polri.id - Jakarta. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aims to accelerate the process of making an Umrah visa in just 24 hours. Saudi Arabia's Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said, the process of accelerating the making of Umrah visas was to help prospective pilgrims who wants to do Umrah and Hajj.
"It is now possible to order an Umrah permit through certain platforms in a short time, and after that, the visa can be received within 24 hours," said Tawfiq Al-Rabiah as reported by the Saudi Gazette page, Monday (10/10/22).
In addition, the Saudi government also plans to reduce the cost of Hajj and Umrah and modernizing the services provided by the Saudis to pilgrims.
"This includes using robots to provide several services to pilgrims, as well as developing the Nusk platform, which provides many facilities to worshipers and visitors of the Grand Mosque," he explained.
Tawfiq Al-Rabiah also discussed the issue of women who wants to do Hajj alone. He also said that women no longer need to be accompanied by a mahram to perform Hajj and Umrah.
