Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Polda Metro Jaya has named a man as a suspect in the murder case of a woman with the initials of AYR (26) whose body was found under the Becakayu Toll Road, Bekasi. The suspect, with the initials of R, was arrested by investigators in the Pondok Gede area, East Jakarta.
"We have secured R as the perpetrator who dumped a body on the Inspeksi Road, Jatibening, Sumber Artha area, Bekasi City. The perpetrator was arrested at around 11:00 WIB," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Police, Commissioner Hengki Haryadi, Wednesday (10/19).
He explained that investigators are still questioning R to find any alleged involvement of other parties related to the murder case.
"Based on our initial investigation, it is suspected that more than one person was involved in the murder," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Police.
Meanwhile, a witness named Dian (35) recounted that the victim's body was first discovered when a shopkeeper was looking for a coffee cup that was used as a plastic wrap at the crime scene. He was so scared when he discovered the body," said Dian recounting the scared shopkeeper who came and told him about the body, quoted from Kompas.com, Tuesday (18/10/22).
