Police are still investigating the cause of the burning of a car carrying fuel jerry cans on Letjen Suprapto street, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta. As a result of the incident, two passengers suffered serious burn ijury and are now lying in the hospital.
Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Komarudin, based on a preliminary examination, the cause of the car caught fire was due to one of the passenger was smoking.
"Based on our initial examination, one of them was smoking while in the car," said Commissioner Komarudin, when contacted, Friday (11/11).
However, it is not known why the car was carrying a jerry can of fuel because the two people who suffered burns could not be asked for further information, so it will be investigated in the future after they both get better.
