In order to carry out the National Police Chief's Priority Program, namely PRECISION on law enforcement to handle community problems such as gambling, the Deiyai Police succeeded in arresting the perpetrators of lottery gambling on 10/20 and 10/28 in Deiyai Regency.
Deiyai Police Chief AKBP Arief Kristanto, explained that the Deiyai Police Criminal Investigation Unit succeeded in arresting 5 lottery gamblers. The arrest was led directly by Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Deiyai Police Ipda Exaudio Hasibuan.
“The five suspects have the initials of HS, S, HR AM, and ATH. The five suspects have their respective roles. HS as dealer, S as collector, HR as coupon seller, AM and ATH as lottery coupon seller," explained the Deiyai Police Chief during a press conference at the Deiyai Police Headquarters, Tuesday (8/11/22).
The Deiyai Police Chief, AKBP Arief, revealed that the four suspects were arrested by the Deiyai Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Thursday (10/20) and one other suspect with the initials ATH was arrested on Friday (10/28). The five suspects were arrested while playing gambling in Waghete City, Deiyai Regency.
"From the results of the arrests, evidence has been seized by securing 32 pieces of IDR 100,000, 28 pieces of IDR 50,000, 6 pieces of IDR 20,000, 24 pieces of IDR 10,000, 13 pieces of IDR 5,000, 8 pieces of zodiac coupons that have been sold, 18 pieces of empty zodiac coupons, 3 zodiac tables, 1 Hekter, 1 ballpoint pen, and 1 yellow carrying bag," concluded the Police Chief.
