The Kuala Namu International Airport (KNIA) and the North Sumatra Police managed to thwart the smuggling of 2,049 grams methamphetamine who were brought by two passengers from Aceh with the initials of F (26) and M (29).
The Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi explained that F and M were paid Rp40 million to smuggle the drugs. Other than the drugs, his party also confiscated two cell phones, two suitcases, along with ten bottles of baby powder.
"The two men have now been secured and examined intensively at the North Sumatra Police's HQ," he explained, as reported by tvonenews.com
