[14.19, 14/12/2022] +62 812-9117-3823: Metro Jaya Police Drug Investigation Unit have disclosed a drug abuse case after confiscating evidence of marijuana, synthetic tobacco, to liquid methamphetamine during Nila Jaya Operation 2022 that beguns since November 16th to November 30th, 2022.
“We have disclosed the case during Nila Jaya Operation 2022. According to the 222 police report that we have received, total suspects that we have secured are 278 people. From these 278 suspect, 7 of them are the dealers, 259 of them are courriers, and 79 of them are the users,” says Metro Jaya Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Endra Zulpan, quoted from pmjnews, Tuesday (12/13).
Meanwhile, the Director of Metro Jaya Drug Investigation Unit, Commissioner Mukti Juharsa adds that the disclosure of the drug cases during Nila Jaya Operation 2022, are still considered new, among them are the liquid methamphetamine that they packaged to be look like e-cigarette. They plan to distribute the drugs would be spread over during the New Year Eve 2023.
Our success in thwarting the drug smuggling is thanks to our cooperation with Customs Office. Because we have anticipated the smuggling of this liquid methamphetamine, we and the Customs Office tighten our security, because we know that this illicit goods are hard to be identified,” said Commissioner Mukti Juharsa.
