Banten Police have launched Electronic Ticketing through ETLE Portable that they installed in their vehicles and also through hand-held cameras.

“I would like to say thank you and appreciation for the innovation of ETLE Portable by Banten Police Traffic Directorate that tries to modernize ticketing. We have to support all inovation that prevents manual ticketing from happening,” says Banten Police Chief, Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto, in launching ETLE Mobile in Banten, Tuesday (12/13).

As quoted from jpnn.com, Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto explained that personnel in the field must ensure that ETLE ticketing will only act against violators, not the vehicle that might possibly just borrowed by the violators.

“This technology must be perfected so there won’t be missanctioned by us, where we sanctioned the owner, not the violators. We also have to improve this technology to be able to detect drivers who did not have the Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration Certificate,” says Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto.

Meanwhile, the Director of Banten Police Traffic Unit, Commissioenr Budi Mulyanto says that this technology is a creative breakthrough in completing the seven locations of ETLE static and electronic policing by using moving object that could cover the streets that are not monitored by static ETLE.

He also stated that most notable things from this equipment support is portable cameras and hand-held cameras that they installed in patrol vehicles. This camera could capture various violations from 25 meters by one capture.
