Aceh Police Confiscate a Total Eight Tons of Subsidized Fuel

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. The police confiscated 8,757 liters or more than eight tons of subsidized fuel oil in Aceh. The Director of Special Criminal Investigation, Commissioner Sony Sanjaya, stated that those fuels are the evidence that the authorities continues to prevent the misuse of subsidized fuel oil by irresponsible individuals.

“Around eight tons of subsidized fuel oil are the total of the 21 cases of subsidized fuel oil abuse since August 24th to September 10th, 2022,” said Commissioner Sony, Monday (9/12).

He said that those numbers show that the misuse of subsidized fuel oil in Aceh is still high. From 21 cases of subsidized fuel oil abuse, one of them was handled by Aceh Regional Police with the evidence of 595 liters of subsidized fuel oil.

Then there are Banda Aceh Police Resort with a case and an evidence of 900 liters of fuel oil, Aceh Tamian Resort Police with two cases and evidence of 425 liters of fuel oil, North Aceh Resort Police with two cases with evidence of 525 liters, and East Aceh Resort Police with two cases and evidence of 276 liters of fuel oil.

Next, there are Bireuen Resort Police who also able to handle the fuel oil case and confiscated an evidence of 1,080 liters of fuel oil, Pidie Resort Police with a case and an evidence of 155 liters of fuel oil, and South Aceh Resort Police with evidence of 2,280 liters of fuel oil.

Gayo Lues Resort Police has handled one case with 230 liters of evidence of fuel oil, Aceh Jaya Resort Police has one case with 211 liters of evidence of fuel oil, Langsa Police has one case with 390 liters of evidence.

Subulussalam Police with their one case and 120 liters of fuel oil as the evidence, Nagan Raya Police with two cases and 590 liters of fuel oil as the evidence, Southeast Aceh Police with their one case and 50 liters of fuel oil as the evidence.

And lastly, there are Lhokseumawe Police who succeeded in handling a case of fuel oil abuse with 330 liters of evidence and Simeulue Police with 600 liters of subsidized fuel as evidence.

"Of the 21 cases, the police have also arrested 30 suspected perpetrators. They are currently undergoing legal processes in their respective regions," he said.
