The undercover cop managed to arrest an ecstasy dealer in Binjai, North Sumatra. The perpetrator, EM (28) were not aware with the disguise of the undercover cop and was immediately arrested along with 986 ecstasy pills.
“We sent our personnel to do a transaction with the suspect. When the suspect hand over the drugs, the personnel immediately arrest the suspect,” explained Iptu Junaidi.
EM was arrested in Perintis Kemerdekaan Street, Cengkehturi District, North Binjai. The process of arresting EM has been started since September 2nd, 2022
Initially, the police received an information from Cengkeh Turi Drugs Investigation Unit to arrest a drug dealer in Binjai. The Police then bait the dealer by buying the drugs with a large quantity.
“We ordered two thousands ectasy pill with Rp125,000 per pills. The suspect agreed and was successfully baited to his own end,” said Iptu Junaidi.
EM admits that those hundreds pills belongs to him. He then moved to Binjai Police HQ to undergo examination.
