Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The Banjarmasin Police Narcotics Unit arrested Rusihan Anwari alias Aan (45) who was a methamphetamine drug courier.

From the courier, who lives on AES Nasution street, Gadang Village, Central Banjarmasin, the police confiscated 1.3 kg of crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy.

Banjarmasin Police Chief, Commissioner Sabana A. Martosumito, explained that this case was revealed thanks to public reports.

"Members have carried out an investigation for several days, then it was decided to raid him at his home," said Commissioner Sabana A. Martosumito.

The search results found 17 large packages of methamphetamine ready to be circulated. The prohibited items were found in the suspect's backpack, along with 31 pills of ecstasy.

The officers also secured other evidence such as a digital scale, white plastic bag, and two smartphones.

"From our examination on the suspect, we found out that he obtained the goods from a man named Udin, who is currently still being chased by the police," he explained.

“The goods received have not been received on the other network. Their initial plan was to sell the goods in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru,” explained the Banjarmasin Police Chief.

The suspect knew Udin's name from a friend. However, he argued that he had never met, only communicated by telephone.

"I was promised a salary of Rp10 million, but I have not received the wages at all," explained Aan.
