Visiting Vaccination of 1,300 Textile Workers, Chief of National Police Asked to Strengthen Testing Commander of National Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, together with Chief of National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, visited the vaccination site of 1,300 textile workers in Kudus, Central Java, on Thursday (17/6/2021). Chief of Police hopes for the community's active role to communicate the government's encouraged vaccination programme. Besides that, the former Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police also asked related stakeholders to optimise PPKM Mikro (Micro-scaled Public Activity Limitation Enforcement) by reducing public mobility to suppress Covid-19 transmission. "And how testing and tracing is strengthened because the asymptomatic people are the riskiest ones", the Chief of Police said in a written statement. Chief of Police emphasised that Covid-19 control required strong cooperation from all parties. He asked the local government to prepare centralised self-isolation buildings on determined locations. "The isolation centres will have health workers and required drugs, so it will be easy to access", the Chief of Police said. Besides visiting the vaccination site, the Commander of Armed Forces and Chief of Police also conducting unannounced inspections to PPKM Mikro enforcement in Bae district, Kudus. During the inspection, they discuss the situation with the Regional Community Police Officer, Police Sub-Inspector 1st Class Basirun, Regional Community Military Officer, Sergeant 2nd Class Dahlan, and doctors of Community Health Centre. They appreciated both personnel who become the spearhead of the force due to their efforts in explaining Covid-19 handling in their areas. Therefore, the Chief of Police rewarded Police Sub-Inspector 1st Class Basirun with a ticket to Class Transfer School. "Because PPKM Mikro in Bae village could be a role model for other 61 villages under PPKM Mikro in Bae district of Kudus regency", Chief of Police concluded.
