During the Second Week of November 2021, the South Sumatra Regional Police Managed to Secure 51 Suspects Related to Drug Cases

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palembang. South Sumatra Regional Police's Directorate of Criminal Investigation Agency, together with the police ranks, managed to discover 40 cases related to drug trafficking and secure 51 suspects in the jurisdiction of the South Sumatra Regional Police.

Furthermore, on the second week of November 2021, our members arrested 51 suspects in drug cases, explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Supriadi, Monday (11/15/21).

The Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police explained that apart from arresting the perpetrators of drug cases, the police managed to secure several pieces of evidence of 13.4 kilograms of methamphetamine and 1 kilogram of marijuana 2,515 pills of ecstasy.

"From the evidence that was successfully secured, we saved at least 90,025 children of the nation from the entanglement of these illicit goods in the South Sumatra region," said the Intermediate Officer of the South Sumatra Regional Police.

Police Grand Commissioner. Supriadi explained that in the second week, there was one Resort Police who failed to disclose narcotics cases, namely the South Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Police.
