Assisting the Government in Accelerating National Vaccination, Alumni of 1999 Indonesian Military Academy Holds Mass Vaccination and Social Services in Cirebon

In order to assist the government in launching vaccinations in the regions, especially in Indonesia, the Alumni of 1999 Indonesian Military Academy held a Mass Vaccination and Provision of Basic Food in Gebang Mekar Village, Gebang District, Cirebon Regency, Wednesday (10/20/2021).

The head of the Alumni of 1999 Indonesian Military Academy, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Calvin Simanjuntak said that the mass vaccination and distribution of essential food items was a program of the Alumni of 1999 Indonesian Military Academy program, namely the establishment of Communal Immunity Villages, which was carried out simultaneously in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia.

"Our targets are the poor, disabled, ODGJ, people who are directly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We reported that so far, for one month, our target has reached 527,463 thousand doses and has been vaccinated, reaching 481,215 thousand doses. We briefly checked from morning until noon that 550 doses have been distributed," explained the Chief of the Alumni.

The Alumni Chief of 1999 Indonesian Military Academy explained that his party had also reached Communal Immunity Villages in 13 villages spread across Indonesia. In addition, some Islamic boarding schools have also been targeted for vaccination.

"In addition to villages, we also reached five Islamic boarding schools with large numbers of students for the Covid-19 vaccination acceleration program," explained the Alumni Chief of 1999 Indonesian Military Police.

In addition, Pol. Grand Commissioner Calvin Simanjuntak explained that his party in vaccination activities was assisted by vaccinators from the National Armed Forces, National Police, Health Office and volunteers.

In total, there were 26,489 vaccinators for one month, from the National Armed Forces, National Police, health workers, and volunteers for this vaccination process, explained the Alumni Chief of the 1999 Indonesian Military Academy.

The Chief of the 1999 Indonesian Military alumni Academy explained that his party did not forget to distribute food packages to people who were directly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in vaccination activities.

"We have also distributed 124,978 food packages affected by Covid-19," explained the 1999 Indonesian Military Academy chief.

The chairman of the 1999 Indonesian Military Academy chief explained that the
1999 Indonesian Military Academy did not only carry out vaccination activities but also helped the government in the recovery of the national economy.

"This is a manifestation of the dedication and contribution of the 1999 Indonesian Military Academy to the nation and state by helping to accelerate the mass vaccination program and national economic recovery. We want to thank the health workers and the Indonesia Pasti Bisa Foundation and the 1999 Alumni Alumni who helped with this program," explained the Chief of The Alumni.
