Members of Commission III of the House of Representatives in charge of Law, Human Rights and Security visited the East Java Regional Police Headquarters in the framework of a working visit (Kunker) Recess led by the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Adies Kadir.

The recess visit conducted by Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives was welcomed by the East Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police. When they arrived at the East Java Police Headquarters, members of Commission III released 77 Vaccination cars. In addition, it also provided essential food assistance from the East Java Regional Police as many as 2000 food packages for people affected by Covid-19, including the yellow troops (Surabaya city cleaners), pedicab drivers and honorary workers in the Surabaya and surrounding areas.

This mobile vaccine car belonging to the East Java Regional Police can provide around 200-250 people. This mobile vaccine car is very effective for places that are difficult to reach.

While giving a speech, Deputy Chairperson of Commission III of the House of Representatives stated that currently, we are carrying out part of the duties of Commission III of the House of Representatives as a supervisory function. Before the East Java Regional Police, we previously visited the Sidoarjo Police Headquarters and the Surabaya Resort Departemental Police Headquarters.

As many as 2000 yellow troops or cleaning officers today were given 2000 food packages. I advise the workers of the yellow troops to stay healthy and don't forget the vaccines, said Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Adies Kadir, Monday (10/11/2021) afternoon.

In addition to providing food package assistance, members of Commission III of the House of Representatives also released 77 cars for vaccination. "I appreciate what the Police have done, especially in the ranks of the East Java Regional Police. This is extraordinary, God willing. So herd Immunity in East Java by the end of the year can be achieved. Because so far, it has reached 52 percent of the 70 percent target. I am sure that by the end of the year, the East Java Regional Police will be vaccinated," continued the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

The Deputy Chief of Commission III of the House of Representatives also added extraordinary assistance from the East Java Regional Police, who did not stop vaccinating residents in East Java. "Hopefully, all of this can help the Government in dealing with Covid-19, especially in East Java." He explained.
