Police Reviews Pig Pens of Gulama Locals to Support the Wellfare of the Village

Members of Binmas Noken again held the Cassowary (Welfare for the Locals) program by visiting the pig farm owned by Mr. Ulis Kogoya, a local from Gulama village. This activity was led by Ipda Nus Korwa as Head of Nduga Police Community Development, and accompanied by Brigadier Keeis, Friday (12/9).

In their visit, they saw the pigs of Mr. Ulis' looks well and healthy. Ipda Korwa then told Mr Ulis to always maintain the cleanliness of the pig pen

"Pigs look healthy, and to maintain it, the hygiene of the pen must continue to be maintained, and maintain a good diet for the pigs besides," said Iptu Korwa.

Head of Cartenz Peace Ops Public Relations, Commissioner Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, said the Cassowary Program was an attempt by the National Police to improve the welfare of the community. "We really hope that in the future this farm can develop well and can help improve the economy of the people of Nduga," he explained.

In addition, He also appealed to the public to jointly maintain the situation and order ahead of the Christmas Day Celebration and also the 2023 New Year Eve in Nduga Regency.
