The SAR team, Company Battalion B of the Mobile Brigade Task Force of Aceh Police, immediately went to the flood location to help evacuate the people who were trapped by the flood. It was reported that five sub-districts in Aceh Tamiang Regency were flooded, on Tuesday (1/11/22).
The Commander Company 2 AKP Zulfiikar, said that his party had deployed Mobile Brigade personnel to assist in the evacuation of flood victims and goods at the disaster location.
"Currently, the flood in Tamiang has reached the waist height of an adult and the flood was caused by the overflow of the river after heavy rains for the past two days," explained AKP Zulfiikar.
He also established a Disaster Command Post in Suka Jadi Village, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency to make things easier for the community who seeks help.
