Kimaam Police Went Door-to-Door to Strenghten Relations With the Community Ahead of Christmas

Ahead of December Holidays, Kimaam Police intensified their door-to-door program in Kimaam Merauke, South Papua, Wednesday (12/21). This program was taken to strengthen the relations between the police and local communities, says the Kimaam Police Chief, Ipda Frans Maraya.

“We also conveyed several security messages to them so that they would support and join us in securing the are ahead of Christmas and New Year Eve by improving our joint patrols,” says Ipda Frans.

On that occassion, he also reminds the people to always maintain their good health by keeping the neighborhood clean. He also told the christians, ahead of Christmas, they should took this moment to be more close with their God, and often go to church.

“We also implore the community to make use of unused lands to be planted with herbs such as ginger, lemongrass, or turmeric. So that they could use it later for good use, either for food ingredients or for cure ailments,” says Kimaam Police Chief.
