The development of Lake Toba tourism in North Sumatra is very fast. One of them is the Caldera tourist attraction which is a magnet for tourists from various regions to visit and enjoy the charm of the exotic scenery.
The head of Security Guard (Kabaharkam) of the National Police (Polri), Commissioner General Drs. Arief Sulistyanto, M.Sc., also visits the Caldera tourist attraction, with the North Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumut) Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak and the high officials of North Sumatra authorities.
He enjoyed the atmosphere and the scenery of Caldera in his visit to North Sumatra.
"It's amazing how fast the development of Lake Toba tourism is," said the former Head of the National Police's Education and Training Center.
Commissioner General Drs. Arief Sulistyanto, M.Sc., revealed that the government has declared the Lake Toba area as a world tourist destination by uniting eight districts namely, Simalungun, Toba, Samosir, North Tapanuli, Humbahas, Karo, Pakpak Bharat, Dairi.
"Highest appreciation to the North Sumatra Police Chief who is very vigorous in supporting national priority programs, especially in the super priority tourism area of Lake Toba," said the Akabri graduate in 1987.
According to the Three-Star General, the national program can be realized with good coordination with all stakeholders around Lake Toba.
"Later on, to increase security in the Lake Toba area, the Lake Toba Tourism Police will immediately be formed to provide security services to tourists when visiting the super priority tourism area of Lake Toba," concluded the Kabaharkam Polri.
