This heartbreaking incident occurred in the victim's room on July 21, 2022, at night. During this time the victim was living with his father after her parents divorced. But instead of getting a proper parental love, the victim got cruel treatment from her father.
"At the time of the incident, the perpetrator slept next to the victim and then began to did his malevolent actions repeatedly," said the Mataram Police Chief, Commissioner Mostofa, Friday (9/30).
The victim got up and fought back, but the father threatened to hit her if she refused his wish. After the rape, the victim was having a heavy mental damage.
After keeping a secret for a long time, she then went to her mother and told her what her father had done. After hearing the story, her mother and aunt were very shocked to what had happened to the girl.
The mother was furious and immediately reported the incident to the Mataram Police. Members of the Women and Children Service (PPA) Unit of the Mataram Police moved quickly to the house of the perpetrator and then processed the crime scene, asking for witness statements and did a post-mortem to the victim.
"The results of the post-mortem show that there is an opening of the hymen on the victim's genitals, which is thought to have been caused by a blunt object," said the Mataram Police Chief.
From the testimony of witnesses, the results of the post-mortem, and the investigation, the police concluded that there was a criminal incident on this case. The perpetrator was then arrested and the police secured evidence of the victim's clothes and the post-mortem result.
For his actions, the perpetrator is charged of Article 82 (1) Jo 76 E of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a threat of 15 years in prison.
