Six teams have managed to advanced to the quarter finals of 2022 World Cup. The six are Netherlands, Argentina, France, England, Croatia, and Brazil.
Netherlands become the first to secure their places in the quarter finals. In the round of 16, Netherlands won their match against United States of America with a definitive score of 3-1 at Khalifa Stadium, Saturday (12/3). Memphis Depay, Daley Blind, and Denzel Dumfries scored the goals for Netherlands, securing their place in the round of eight of World Cup 2022.
Croatio and Brazil became the latest teams who advanced to the quarter finals after defeating the Asian teams, Japan and South Korea.
In Japan vs Croatia, the match went to penalty shootout and Croatia managed to beat Japan with a score of 3-1, moving Croatia to the next stage of the World Cup.
There are two seats left in the quarter finals of World Cup and it will be decided in the match between Portugal vs Switzerland and Spain vs Morocco.
