Working Visit to South Sulawesi Regional Police, Head of Historical Center of Indonesia National Police Visited Several Historical Locations in Makassar City

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Makassar. Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan accompanied a team from Historical Center of Indonesia National Police Headquarter to visit Fort Rotterdam, La Galigo Museum, and Tomb of Prince Diponegoro, as well as several other historical locations on Monday, August 2, 2021.

The visit of Historical Center of Indonesia National Police team was led by Head of Historical Center, Police Brigadier General Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri and also Heads of Division including Police Grand Commissioner Joko Sarwoko and Head of Rahtra Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Eddy P.

The visit of Head of Historical Center is to collect data to find out nation’s struggle history which is stored in several historical locations in Makassar City, including Fort Rotterdam, La Galigo Museum, Prince Diponegoro's Tomb, and several other historical locations that he will visit.

In his virit to Fort Fort Rotterdam, Head of Historical Center get historical explanation from staffs and Curator of Heritage Preservation Hall Museum about the history in the province.

After touring the Fort Rotterdam, Head of Historical Center, Police Brigadier General Apriastini also visited and made pilgrimage to Prince Diponegoro Tomb and kept in touch with Raden Hamzah Diponegoro, who is the 5th generation of Prince Diponegoro.

Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissione E. Zulpan, explained Historical Center of Indonesia National Police team carried out the task of collecting data to find out \ history of the nation's struggle which was stored in several historical locations in Makassar City.

“The visit went well. Police Brigadier General Apriastini specifically came to South Sulawesi to look at the museum which stores history of nation's struggle. Including La Galigo Museum," he said.

On this occasion, Head of Historical Center of Indonesia National Police, Police Brigadier General Apriastini Bakti Bugiansri., gave souvenirs from Head of Historical Center of Indonesia National Police Headquarter to staffs who manage museum/Fort Rotterdam, and manager of Prince Diponegoro Tomb.
