The working visit included checking the implementation of vaccinations in Balikpapan City and reviewing the Command Center at the Balikpapan City Police, Thursday (7/10/2021).
Head of the Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police and the group were greeted directly by the Chief Deputy of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Hariyanto along with a number of High Rank Executives of the East Kalimantan Regional Police.
"Today, the Chief Deputy of the East Kalimantan Police, accompanied by the High-Rank Executives of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, welcomed the arrival of the Head of the Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Istiono and his entourage upon arrival at SAMS Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan City″, explained the Head of Public Relations Division of the East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo.
During his working visit, the Head of Traffic Corps and his entourage also had the opportunity to directly observe the implementation of the Vaccination Outlet at the BP terminal and in conjunction with socialization related to health protocols and giving gifts to representatives of Vaccine participants.
“What has been done in Balikpapan is very good. Vaccines are improved, mobility restrictions are implemented properly, the crowds are organized, then comply with the procedures, the community is disciplined, especially the discipline of wearing masks," he said.
The Head of the Traffic Corps also visited the Balikpapan City Police to review the Command Center and Service 110 rooms.
It should be noted that the working visit carried out by the Head of the Traffic Corps of Indonesian National Police and their entourage is a series of activities to regions to realize an increase in Herd Immunity through vaccination activities in the hope that the public's health level will improve and be productive.
