Chief of Central Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Hengki Haryadi, and Commander of 0501 Military District, Infantry Colonel Luqman Arief, received Presisi Award from the Indonesian Police Strategic Studies Institute (Lemkapi) for their hard work in controlling Covid-19 and conducting vaccination programme in Central Jakarta on Friday (30/7/21).
Lemkapi team, led by the Executive Director, Dr Edi Hasibuan, visited the Central Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police Headquarter and gave the award. "We saw an extraordinary synergy between Armed Forces and Police in Central Jakarta. We asked the public and read the conventional and social media. It is apparent that the synergy of them in protecting and serving the vaccination is excellent and received many appreciations from the public", Dr Edi Hasibuan said when he gave the award to Chief of Central Jakarta Metropolitan Departmental Police and Commander of 0501 Military District.
Edi Hasibuan, who was a former member of the National Police Commission, said that many people are experiencing hardships. By the presence of Armed Forces and Police, which are everywhere and providing protection, including vaccinating people and supporting the government's programme of "one million vaccines a day", become particular energy for the people. "We come here to thank the Chief of Police, Commander of the Armed Forces, Chief of Metropolitan Regional Police, and Commander of Greater Jakarta Military Region who have provided the best service to the public", he said.
