Commissioner General Arief Sulistyanto, made a working visit to Pontianak City, West Kalimantan, Friday (08/13/2021). During the visit, he emphasized that it was related to Operation Safe Nusa II in an effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.
"During the Safe Nusa II Operation which took place from July 3 until now, many changes, regulations and government policies have been implemented," explained the Three Star Police General, Friday (08/13/2021).
He explained, from the beginning with the name Community Activity restrictions Emergency for two weeks, then it changed again to using leveling. Such as level 4, level 3, level 2 and level 1.
"Whatever the name, whatever the policy, it must be narrated to the whole community so that they know it," he said.
In addition, it must be explained to the community the importance of the Community Activity Restrictions policy and why it is enforced.
"The goal is to avoid problems in the community, then blame the Community Activity Restrictions," said the former West Kalimantan Regional Police Chief.
He also emphasized that Community Activity Restriction was implemented because of the Covid-19 pandemic which threatened the health and even the lives of all citizens.
He also emphasized that this was the cause of the implementation of this Community Activity Restriction policy so that there were no problems in understanding.
"Community Activity Restriction is one of the methods implemented by the government to save the community from the Covid-19 pandemic," he said.
