In the disclosure, the Jatanras Team secured a suspect with AN (30), a private employee at his residence.
He explained that the murder case took place last Thursday (10/14). The perpetrator initially entered the house to steal the victim's valuables.
"The suspect was arrested for raping and murdering a housewife (IRT) with the initial of S at PT. HSJ Housing, Sidomulyo Village, Labuhanbatu Regency. When he was inside the house, the perpetrator saw the victim in a condition not wearing panties and immediately committed the act of rape," he explained.
After Satisfied venting his depraved lust, Tatan said that the perpetrator also asked for some money and asked the victim for jewellery because the request was not complied with; the perpetrator immediately killed the victim with a machete that had been prepared.
"After killing the perpetrators, they took the victim's money and jewellery away. Then, the perpetrator killed the victim so that other residents would not know because they were neighbours with the victim," he said.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigation Unit of the North Sumatra Regional Police revealed that the Labuhanbatu Buser Team, assisted by the North Sumatran Regional Police Jatanras, moved quickly to investigate reports of the discovery of corpses in the house covered in blood. Meanwhile, the perpetrator admitted that he was desperate to kill because he needed money to pay his debts.
From the results of the examination of several witnesses and the information collected by the team, the team was able to identify the perpetrator and within 24 hours were able to arrest the perpetrator in Sidomulyo Village; when he was arrested, the perpetrator resisted and was about to run away, so we took decisive action to paralyze him. For his actions, he faces the death penalty or life imprisonment.
